Rob Harrington (Band) - Short Bio

The Rob Harrington Band blends funk-rock and blues in their original music and tasty covers they perform on stage. Showcasing 5 talented musicians from around Salt Lake, bringing funky bass lines, groovy beats and jaw dropping guitar solos throughout their performances. It’s a brotherhood that has developed a local loyal following in Salt Lake Valley clubs over the years.

Rob’s musical journey began in his hometown of SLC, where he first picked up a guitar at the age of twelve. A decade ago, with a desire to share his creations, he humbly started attending the open jams at The Hog Wallow in Salt Lake City. He had a burning desire to learn and create. He slowly found his way to musicians interested in creating and expanding together. Influenced by a diverse array of genres, from rock and rap to folk and country, he spent countless hours honing his craft and writing original songs that captured personal experiences and broader social themes. As he performed at local venues, Rob garnered a loyal following, prompting him to release his debut album, “What We Started”, which showcased his signature sound and lyrical depth. Over the years, he has collaborated with various artists and expanded his repertoire, all while staying true to his roots and continuing to evolve as a musician.

Today, Rob Harrington stands as a testament to dedication and artistic growth, with a body of work that resonates with listeners on many levels. Backed by his talented band of musicians, they keep the party going with their live performances. Blending their setlist’s with the bands original music and tasty covers spanning decades of music.
